Smile Concert - 1/19/08 March 20, 2008

OK, so it’s not the most exciting outing, but it’s a start! The Smile Concert was a community building event organized by the PTA at Joyo Junior High School. The main attraction was a local band including a bunch of teachers that plays Latin music, which got me in the mood for dancing! It was fun to see the band students join them for a couple of songs. But the highlight for me was a group of three students who played their original songs! One of them was a very talented pianist and composer.
